Background:
My name is Oliver, I have 15 Years experience in the design industry working across a wide variety of sectors from architecture and interiors through to exhibitions and events. I am passionate about bringing both my own ideas, and other peoples ideas to life. My comprehensive understanding of build methods and materials allows me to be both creative but realistic in my approach. I can take on a project from concept through to completion, managing design process and resource along the way. I am also happy to step in wherever my skills could be, whether it be for the initial pitch, design delivery, or anywhere in between.
I have a passion for the entire design process. From initial strategy and space planning through to pitch winning visuals and presentations. I can then take the project and liaise confidently with suppliers and contractors to discuss materials and delivery methods - whilst keeping a cool head under the pressures of multiple deadlines and deliveries.
After beginning my career in a small, fast paced studio in Hampshire where I spent four years learning the ropes, I moved to Dubai in 2009 to embark on a new chapter of my career and life. I worked at one of the leading brand experience agencies in the region for over 5 years and worked my way up to become a senior member of the design team working on an extensive range of projects whilst managing and mentoring Juniors within the studio.
My next step was to go out on my own as a freelancer, I worked on multiple long term contracts in Dubai and Singapore before eventually deciding to move back to London with my wife (who I had met in Dubai)
Now a father of two, I am currently based in London but am happy to work for clients anywhere in the world. My set up allows me to work seamlessly from home but I’m also very happy to come in and be a part of the team in the studio. I work in 3D Max, AutoCad, Sketchup, and of course Adobe creative suite.

Awarded best exhibition stand design at middle east event awards 2010 (du @ GITEX 2010).

2015 - 2018:
FREELANCE SENIOR 3D DESIGNER:FITCH - SINGAPORE: a 2 Month contract where I worked closely with the team at Fitch Singapore to help bring to life a concept for the Asian Paints flag ship store in India. I worked closely with the creative director and wider design team to inject new ideas and also bring existing ideas to life from a 3D Design perspective.
PROJEX - DUBAI: 1.5 Year contract working on large scale bespoke exhibition stands for high end real estate and technology brands within the UAE. I worked both in the studio in Dubai and remotely from London as 3D creative lead and visualiser. I took on projects from initial brief through to final delivery - presenting to clients and liaising with contractors throughout the process.
TBA GROUP - LONDON: 1.5 year contract working with high end automotive brands among many others. I worked closely with the creative director to help win a number of exciting pitches. I would eventually go on to become a full time senior member of the studio and help to develop the accounts that we had won - whilst of course helping to win more work along the way.
2018 - 2020
TBA GROUP - SENIOR DESIGNER:
Lead 3D Designer on multiple accounts such as Jaguar Racing, ABB and Venture Global among many others. Managing and overseeing design process from concept through to delivery my responsibilities included liaising with clients throughout the process and working closely with contractors to ensure design integrity was at the core of the projects I worked on.2020
